כיון שנהג במנהג טוב להשתתף יחד בהתועדות דשבת מברכין, ועאכו"כ[3] שבת מברכין חדש כסלו הוא חדש הגאולה ונצחון תורת החסידות אילנא דחיי דלית תמן כו' רק טוב וחסד, הנה מוסגר פה ר"פ מהמאמר אשר בל"נ[4] בדעת[י] לחזור בש"ק[5] מברכין זה, ויה"ר[6] אשר המקום לא יפסיק ויחולו כל הברכות על כאו"א[7] מאתנו בהמצטרך לו בתוך כלל ישראל.

Greetings and blessing!
Since you have followed the good custom of joining in the farbrengen of Shabbos Mevarchim — and how much more so Shabbos Mevarchim of the month of Kislev, which is the month of redemption and of the victory of the teachings of Chassidus, "אילנא דחיי דלית תמן כו'" — "the Tree of Life, in which there is no etc." (Zohar, Ra'aya Mehemna, Naso; quoted in Tanya, Iggeres HaKodesh 26), only goodness and kindness — enclosed here are the main points (ראשי פרקים) of the maamar which, without making a vow, I intend to repeat on this Shabbos Mevarchim. May it be His will that the distance not interrupt, and that all the blessings rest upon each and every one of us in whatever he needs, within the whole of the Jewish people.
