במענה לשאלת רבים, אבקשם לפרסם דעתי ברורה אשר כל אחד ואחת מהחרדים מחויב להשתתף בבחירות לכנסת ולרשויות המקומיות, ולהצביע בעד הרשימה היותר חרדית, ולהשפיע גם על זולתו בזה, והמניעה מזה מגדילה בדרך ממילא כח רשימות המנגדים על השם תורתו ומצותי'.

In response to the question of many, I ask that my clear opinion be publicized: every single one of the observant is obligated to participate in the elections for the Knesset and for the municipal authorities, and to vote for the most observant list, and also to influence others in this matter. Abstaining from this only increases, as a matter of course, the strength of those lists that oppose the name of His Torah and His mitzvos.
