במענה על מכתבו מט' תמוז, בו כותב אודות המצב הכלכלי בביתו, שזה מעורר לכמה סברות בהנוגע לסידורו בעתיד.
הנה יציע פרטי הענין לפני שלשה מידידיו ואחד מהם יהי' המשפיע שלו שהוא תחת הדרכתו, והשי"ת יתן להם הרעיון הנכון לייעצו כטוב לפניו בגו"ר גם יחד.
במה שכותב אשר יורד לפני התיבה בישיבה בשלש התפלות וזה מעורר חילוקי דיעות בין התלמידים המתפללים אז.
הנה בכגון דא ידועה הוראת רבנו הזקן באגה"ק שלו קו"א (קס"ב ע"ב) שהיורד לפני התיבה יתפלל בדרך המיצוע ולא יאריך יותר מדאי ולא מקצרים וחטפים ח"ו והרי בישיבה צריך להתחשב ג"כ עם סדרי הישיבה, זמני התפלה וזמני התורה, והשי"ת יצליחו.

In response to your letter from the 9th of Tammuz, in which you write about your family's financial situation that is causing various considerations regarding your future arrangements. Present the details of the matter before three of your friends, one of whom should be your Mashpia under whose guidance you are, and may Hashem grant them the proper idea to advise you for your good together with blessing and light.
Regarding what you write about serving as the prayer leader in yeshiva for all three prayers and that this causes disagreements among the students praying at that time: In such a case, it is known the instruction of our master the Alter Rebbe in his Iggeres HaKodesh Kuntres Acharon (162b) that the one who leads should pray in a balanced manner—not too lengthy nor too rushed—and in yeshiva one must also consider the yeshiva's order, prayer times, and Torah study times. May Hashem grant you success.
