I was shocked to hear about the passing of your brother Akiva Yosef, of blessed memory. May his soul be bound in the bond of life. May it be G‑d's will that from now on you will only receive good news—good that is visible and revealed.

Regarding what you wrote about some rectification for the soul of the above, it is well known that 'Mishnah' shares letters with 'neshamah' (soul). Establish a set time to study Mishnayos in order, so that you complete all six orders of Mishnah by the upcoming Pesach Sheini. It is already well known that studying Mishnayos has a special quality even for souls still in bodies.

As related from our master the tzt"z (as copied in the fourth part of the imprisonment notes), who told Havavach iy"a etc. Reb Abba z"l Persen: Learning Mishnayos by heart—Mishnah is neshamah; through reciting Mishnayos by heart, the soul illuminates the body, and then the body becomes brighter. Even though this refers to learning from a book, it serves as preparation for learning by heart, and thus also prepares for what is stated in the tzt"z's saying. Surely you will also memorize some Mishnayos from each order, and may Hashem grant you success in all of this.

Summary
