With heartfelt thanks I hereby confirm receipt of the ten booklets, and afterwards three more Chassidic manuscripts which arrived with the intention that they be returned. Although I have not yet had time to study them properly, it appears that most are discourses of the Admor tzt"z (except for one booklet which is a copy of Pe'at HaShulchan and one that seems to be from one of the chassidim—perhaps you know who he is and how authoritative he is in what he writes and explains, whether from tradition or his own understanding).

In a separate package I am sending you what has been published recently: Sefer Torah Or with an added index, etc., as well as notes on Megillat Eichah by Admor tzt"z which were printed some years ago. In one of the booklets sent here—which appears to be Five Megillot—several discourses from them were found, and surely you will confirm receipt.

I am working on publishing a booklet of discourses by Rabbeinu HaZaken, most of which are brief even though some have been printed in Likkutei Torah and Torah Or with added notes. Still, a Beit Midrash cannot exist without innovation—especially since in these very booklets there are also discourses that so far I have not found printed elsewhere. On one booklet from which the discourses were copied it is written in the handwriting of Admor Maharash that this is a manuscript booklet of R' Pinchas Reizes z"l (not his own handwriting but that of a copyist). I hope that within several weeks it will be published and G‑d willing sent to you.

Since even in Torah there is earlier and later material, it would be appropriate according to the above if you possibly have manuscripts from Rabbeinu HaZaken—whatever they may be—not only in Chassidus but even letters and responsa in Nigleh. I have also heard that in Eretz HaKodesh—it seems referring to your honor's handwriting—there are sections from Shulchan Aruch Rabbeinu HaZaken. The report is unclear whether it refers to another edition or to sections not yet printed; thank you in advance for writing about this as well.
