און, זעלבסטפארשטענדליך מיט א באזונדער שמחה צו זעהן אין אייער בריף דעם קירוב הלבבות וואס עס איז געווארען, און בפרט לגבי דעם וואס איר האט געשריבען אין אייערע פריערדיקע בריף, און אין דעם איז אויך די סייעתא פון דעם בעל השמחה פון י"ט כסלו, ווי דער אלטער רבי שרייבט אין זיין בריף בנוגע צו זיין גאולה, וועלכע איז געווען דענסטמאל ווען ער האט געזאגט דעם פסוק פדה בשלום נפשי (וואס אזוי איז אויך געווען בא זיין זון דעם מיטעלען רבי'ן).
און איך האף אז דער קירוב הלבבות וועט זיך אויסדריקן אויך בהפצת המעינות חוצה. אין אנדערע ווערטער, אז מען זאל דאס ממשיך זיין און צוציהען אויך אזעלכע וועלכע, לעת עתה, געפינען זיך נאך אין חוצה, און אויך זיי מזכה זיין מיט די מעינות פון בעל שם טוב ותלמידיו ורבנו הזקן ותלמידיו.
ואשרי חלקו, וואס איר קענט טאן אין דעם ניט נאר אלס איש פרטי נאר אלס גבאי, ד.ה. אלס ממונה אויף מערערע אידען, וואס יעדער התמנות איז דאך בהשגחה פרטית העליונה. ובמילא צו דינען אויך אויף משלים זיין דעם רצון העליון אז - משתשקע החמה זאל זיין מוסיף והולך, ביז אז עס זאל ווערן אזויפיל ליכטיג אז לילה כיום יאיר.

With joy I received your letter from Zot Chanukah, in which you write about the gathering—farbrengen—of the bright day of Yud-Tes Kislev, the festival of our redemption and the liberation of our souls. And, naturally, it was with special happiness to see in your letter about the reconciliation that has taken place, especially regarding what you wrote in your previous letter. In this too is the assistance from the Baal HaSimchah of Yud-Tes Kislev, as the Alter Rebbe writes in his letter concerning his redemption—which occurred at that time when he recited the verse "Padah v'Shalom Nafshi" (He redeemed my soul in peace) (which was also true for his son, the Mitteler Rebbe). And I hope that this reconciliation will also be expressed in spreading the wellsprings outward. In other words, that it should continue and draw in even those who are currently still outside, and also merit them with the wellsprings of the Baal Shem Tov and his students and our Rebbe the Alter Rebbe and his students. Fortunate is your portion that you can act in this not only as a private individual but also as a gabbai—that is, as someone appointed over many Jews—for every appointment is by Divine Providence. Therefore you should also serve to fulfill the Supreme Will that—once sunset has begun—it should increase ever more until it becomes so bright that "the night will shine like day."
Summary
Unity among Jews brings joy and leads to greater success in spreading Chassidus. Each person—especially one with communal responsibility—should use their influence to reach even those still distant from Torah and Chassidus.
