שמחתי בקבלת הידיעה אשר ברשיון הרופא חזר הביתה. ויהי רצון מהשם יתברך שילך הלוך ומצבו הלוך וטוב.
בודאי למותר לעוררו, אשר התורה נתנה רשות לרופא לרפאות, ובמילא זהו ענין דאורייתא, ולא כאלו הטועים לאמר, שירא שמים צריך לא להשמע להרופא אלא וכו', ונהפוך הוא. והרי ידוע פתגם כ"ק אדמו"ר (מוהרש"ב) שאמר לבנו כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, בהראותו על ידו הק' "זע ווי טייער דאס איז, אז אויף דעם האט מען אויסגעגאסען אזויפיל תורה ומצות", ופתגם רבנו הזקן "מי האט גאר קיין השגה ניט ווי טייער עס איז בא השם יתברך א גוף פון א אידען". והשי"ת יצליחו וימהר חזרתו לאיתנו על ידי הנהגה כפי הוראת הרופא, שלוחו של הרופא כל בשר ומפליא לעשות. וכן אותן הימים ישולם לו כמה פעמים ככה - על ידי הצלחה נוספת, לאחרי שיחזור לאיתנו, בלימוד התורה וקיום המצות.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I was happy to receive the news that, with the doctor's permission, you have returned home. May it be the will of Hashem Yisbarach that you continue to improve and your condition continues to get better.
It is certainly unnecessary to remind you that the Torah has given permission to the doctor to heal; therefore, this is a biblical matter—not as some mistakenly say that a G‑d-fearing person should not listen to a doctor, etc.; on the contrary.
It is well known the saying of my revered father-in-law's father (the Rebbe Maharash) who told his son (my revered father-in-law), while pointing to his holy hand: "See how precious this is, for so much Torah and mitzvos have been invested in it." And the saying of our master the Alter Rebbe: "One cannot even grasp how precious it is when Hashem Yisbarach receives a body from a Jew."
May Hashem help you and hasten your return to full strength through following the doctor's instructions—who is an agent of He Who heals all flesh and performs wonders. And may those days be repaid many times over—through additional success after your recovery—in Torah study and mitzvah observance.
