נעם לי לקבל מכתבו מאחרי עלותו לאה"ק ת"ו בצירוף ב' החוברות של השבועון "מחנים". ות"ח על שימת לבבו, שזה מחזקני בתקוה אשר תהיינה לשיחתנו תוצאות ממשיות בענינים השונים עליהם דברנו, וכפי שאמרתי לכ' טרם הפרדנו פתגם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, אשר כששנים מישראל נפגשים יחד, הרי נוסף על התועלת שלכל אחד מהנפגשים יש להשתדל שתצמח מזה טובה גם לשלישי ומה טוב לרבים.
דרך אגב ב"מחנים" של שבוע די"ט כסלו נדפסה רשימה ממה שנדבר כאן בהתועדות, וחבל אשר יש שם עירוב ענינים ואי-דיוק בהעתקה ובסדר הדברים במדה גדולה.
בידעי התענינותו בתורת החסידות בכלל ובתורת חסידות חב"ד בפרט, הנני מסגיר פה חוברת י"ט כסלו שהו"ל זה מכבר, חוברת שנכתבה בשעתה בשפה המדוברת, מאמע-לשון, ע"י כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר ונעתקה אח"כ ללה"ק.
בודאי לא ימנע הטוב מלהודיעני אודות תוצאות הטובות מפגישתנו ותודה למפרע.

I was pleased to receive your letter after your arrival in Eretz HaKodesh, together with the two issues of the weekly "Machanayim." Thank you for your attention to this matter; it strengthens my hope that our conversation will have tangible results regarding the various topics we discussed.
As I told you before we parted, there is a saying from my father-in-law, the Rebbe: When two Israelites meet together, in addition to the benefit each one receives individually, they should strive that good should also come to a third person—and how much more so to many.
By the way, in the "Machanayim" issue from the week of 19th Kislev, an article was printed about what was discussed here at a farbrengen. It is unfortunate that there is a mixing of topics and significant inaccuracies in both the transcription and order of things.
Knowing your interest in Chassidus in general and Chabad Chassidus in particular, I am enclosing here a booklet from 19th Kislev published some time ago—a booklet originally written in the spoken language (Yiddish) by my father-in-law, the Rebbe, and later translated into Hebrew.
I am sure you will not withhold any good by informing me about the positive outcomes from our meeting; thank you in advance.
