אחרי ההפסק, נעם לי לקבל מכתבו מג' חשון, בו כותב אף כי בקיצור נמרץ ביותר, אודות הפעולות בין אנשי הצבא בשבועות שעברו, ובודאי בעתיד יכתוב בפרטיות יותר.
(אולי יש מקום לאמר, לאחרי הרצאותיו - שהרוצים יכולים לבוא בקישור מכתבים לכאן לבירור איזה שאלה המבלבלת כו'. ומובן שעל אתר צריך ג"כ להבטיח (באווארענען) שאין בזה מקום למגבית כספים וכו'. מובן ג"כ שכל זה צריך להעשות על דעת עצמו, ולא בתורת שליחות מכאן, ורק לאמר שיודע מכמה אנשים שמתנהגים כזה, ואף שלפעמים מתעכב המענה, אבל מקבלים המענה, וכן) אם ימצא לנכון, לתת תניא לאיזה המצטיינים באיזה ענין של יהדות וכו' מבין אנשי הצבא, נוסף על נתינות תניא במחנה למועדונים או להספרי' של אנשי הצבא, אם יש מוסדות כאלו במקום המתאים.
לפלא שאינו מזכיר דבר ע"ד בריאות זוגתו תי' ובטח הכל בסדר ובשלום.

After the break, I was pleased to receive your letter from the 3rd of Cheshvan, in which you write—albeit very briefly—about the activities among military personnel in recent weeks. Certainly in the future you will write in more detail.
(Perhaps it is appropriate to say after your lectures that those who wish can connect by sending letters here to clarify any confusing questions, etc. And it is understood that immediately it should also be assured (bavarnen) that this is not a fundraising effort, etc. It is also understood that all this should be done on your own initiative and not as an official mission from here; just say that you know of several people who act this way. Even though sometimes the response is delayed, they do receive an answer. Also,) if you find it appropriate, give a Tanya to those who stand out in some area of Judaism among the military personnel—in addition to giving Tanyas at the base to clubs or libraries for military personnel if such institutions exist at the relevant location.
It is surprising that you do not mention anything about your wife's health; surely everything is fine and peaceful.
