Brachah v'Shalom Rav!

Currently, we are in the days of the Ten Days of Teshuvah, about which the prophet says: 'Dirshu Hashem b'Himatzo Kera'uhu b'Heyoso Karov' (Seek G‑d when He is found; call Him when He is near)—even more than during the rest of the year. Therefore, as an addition to my previous letter, I wish to add these further lines:

With the help of Hashem Yisbarach, recently certain behaviors and customs have been adopted among Anash, especially among the women of Anash, which until now, for various reasons, not everyone observed. As with anything new in a place, it is easy to disrupt it G‑d forbid; therefore, the merit is especially great for anyone who contributes to strengthening this.

On the other hand—it is easier to implement with oneself—even if until now one did not appreciate its true importance—considering that this is not a private matter but has an influence, to some extent, on the entire circle.

Therefore, without going into the reasons that until now prevented certain practices from being introduced into Anash homes—in dress and in children's education—I want to again draw your attention that from now on and onward, everyone without exception should unite with those Anash women who wear sheitels (wigs), give their children a truly Chasidic education, and run a truly Chasidic home in every detail.

And may Hashem help you—that you should see the truth: that it is not such a difficult thing and it is not something to be ashamed of G‑d forbid. On the contrary—you should be proud that you have the strength not to be embarrassed; that when walking in the street your friends will recognize that here goes a Jewish woman who adheres to Das Moshe v'Yisrael (the law of Moshe and Israel), so much so that she does not wish to hide it; and be proud that your children know they are different from all nations and have received the Torah—Torat Chaim—and learn it as their sole foundation of education.

Only after laying this foundation for a building and strengthening it for a set time without confusion or disturbance from other studies can one think about further education.

The merit of accepting a firm resolution in this—with all your heart and with joy—and immediately beginning to implement it in life will bring and will indeed bring a sealing and final sealing for good—on Yom Kadosh (Yom Kippur), Hoshana Rabbah, and Shemini Atzeret (may they come upon us for good)—to you and all your household.

With blessings for sealing and final sealing for good. Awaiting good news regarding all of the above soon.

Summary

The Rebbe urges Anash women to take pride in visibly upholding Chasidic standards—especially dress code and home life—as this strengthens both their families and their community. Embracing these mitzvos with joy brings blessing for themselves and their children.
