... קראתי בעיון מה שכותב אודות הקייטנא בכפר חב"ד, ונהניתי ממה שסוף כל סוף לקח חלק פעיל בארגונה, וכבר ידוע פתגם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע טובה פעולה אחת מאלף אנחות, ובפרט כשהמדובר הוא בעניני חנוך שהם מביאים פירות ופירי פירות עד סוף העולם.
ובטח ימלא הקב"ה הבטחתו לשלם מדה כנגד מדה - להוסיף לו הצלחה מרובה בלימודו ובחינוכו הוא, כי הרי תקופת החינוך של האדם הוא הנמשך כל ימי חייו, וכמ"ש רוב שנים יודיעו חכמה.
אבל נתעכבתי על מה שניכר מבין השורות שלו שהיחס של המדריכים והמורים להנהלת הרשת הוא - כאילו הענינים הם של ההנהלה, והמורים והמדריכים יש להם משרה בענין פלוני או פלוני. וכבר כתבתי בכמה ממכתבי להמשתתפים בהרשת, אשר הענינים הם על אחריות כל המשתתפים, ובמילא לזכות כל המשתתפים. ומזה מובן, אשר אלו שהם המתעסקים בפועל בתפקיד הראשי של הרשת, היינו המחנכים בפועל, זכותם גדול הרבה יותר, ובמילא גם יחסם חשקם ומרצם בהפעולות צ"ל גדולים הרבה יותר מאשר אלו של חברי-הנהלה, שאינם אלא תמכין דאורייתא.
ופשוט, לאחרי התבוננות ואפילו קלה, שבכלל בכל ענין של בני אדם חסרה השלימות, ולכן אפילו אם נדמה שהחסרון הוא גדול יותר על הרגיל - ה"ז צריך לשמש עוד גורם נוסף לתוספת מרץ והתענינות איך לתקן הדברים. וידועה הבטחת הקב"ה - הבא לטהר מסייעין אותו.
והשי"ת יכתבהו ויחתמהו לשנה טובה ומתוקה שנת הצלחה בלימוד תורת הנגלה ותורת החסידות ושנת הצלחה בהשפעה על סביבתו ובפרט בשדה החינוך על טהרת הקדש.

I read carefully what you wrote about the summer camp in Kfar Chabad, and I was pleased that you finally took an active part in organizing it. It is already known the saying of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal lehavdil nebach geonim mezakeh zichrono yagen aleinu: one action is better than a thousand sighs—especially when it comes to matters of education, which bear fruit and fruit of fruit until the end of the world.
Surely Hashem will fulfill His promise to repay measure for measure—to grant you increased success in your own learning and education, for a person's period of education lasts all his life, as it is written: "Most years will teach wisdom."
However, I was concerned by what is apparent between your lines—that the attitude of the counselors and teachers toward the Reshet administration is as if these matters belong to the administration alone, while teachers and counselors merely have a position in this or that matter.
I have already written in several letters to participants in the Reshet that these matters are the responsibility of all participants—and therefore for the merit of all participants. From this it is understood that those who are actually engaged in the main task of the Reshet—the actual educators—their merit is much greater. Consequently, their attitude, enthusiasm, and energy in these activities must be much greater than those of members of administration who are only supporters of Torah.
It is obvious—even after only slight contemplation—that every human endeavor lacks perfection. Therefore, even if it seems that a deficiency is greater than usual, this should serve as an additional reason to increase energy and interest in correcting things.
It is well known Hashem's assurance: "He who comes to purify is assisted." May Hashem inscribe and seal you for a good and sweet year—a year of success in learning both revealed Torah and Chassidus; a year of success in influencing your surroundings—especially in education on pure holiness.
