שלום וברכה!
נצטערתי לשמוע אשר מצב בריאותו אינו בשלימות, וכשהייתי היום על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע הזכרתיו להטבת בריאותו ולעבודת השי"ת בשמחה.
וכיון שכבר פסקו הרמב"ם והטור והשו"ע ומובא בכ"מ בחסידות ביאור הכתוב בכל דרכיך דעהו אשר עובדים את השי"ת גם בענין האכילה אם האכילה היא ע"פ תורה וכן בזמן הטיול וכו' ובכל עסקי האדם, הרי מעצמו מובן שגם ע"ז חל הציווי דעבדו את ה' בשמחה.
והשי"ת יצליחו שתומ"י יתחיל בזה בבטחונו חזק להשי"ת הרופא כל בשר ומפליא לעשות שהוא זן ומפרנס לכל בחסד וברחמים. ובפרט שנמצאים אנו בימי אלול שכלשון רבנו הזקן בלקו"ת פ' ראה דף ל"ב ע"ב הנה ממה"מ הקב"ה רשאין כל מי שרוצה לצאת להקביל פניו והוא מקבל את כולם בספ"י ומראה פנים שוחקות לכולם כמ"ש יאר ה' פניו אליך.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I was saddened to hear that your health is not complete, and today when I was at the holy resting place of my father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal (may the memory of the righteous and holy be a blessing for life in the World to Come), I mentioned you for improved health and for serving Hashem with joy.
Since it has already been ruled by the Rambam, Tur, and Shulchan Aruch—and it is explained in many places in Chassidus regarding the verse 'Bechol Derachecha Da'eihu' ("In all your ways know Him")—that one serves Hashem even through eating if the eating is according to Torah, as well as during relaxation and all human activities, it is self-understood that the commandment 'Serve Hashem with joy' applies to these as well.
May Hashem grant you success so that you immediately begin this with strong trust in Hashem—the Healer of all flesh Who works wonders—Who sustains and provides for everyone with kindness and mercy.
Especially now during the days of Elul—as our master the Alter Rebbe writes in Likkutei Torah Parshas Re'eh p. 32b—that during this time the King of kings, Hakadosh Baruch Hu, allows anyone who wishes to go out and greet Him; He receives everyone graciously and shows a smiling face to all as it says: 'Ya'er Hashem Panav Eilecha' ("May Hashem shine His face upon you").
