Shalom u'Vrachah!

In response to your letter from the 13th of Menachem Av, in which you write that you have given up your stubbornness to remain in Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim and cannot give up your decision not to return to studies at the Yeshiva, and therefore you ask me in which profession to settle, etc., this is comparable to someone who wishes to injure himself spiritually and therefore also physically over time, and asks my opinion on how best to harm himself.

May Hashem grant you, in the merit of your ancestors, that you see the truth and goodness before you both materially and spiritually together—that is, learning in the tent of Torah in both Nigleh and Chassidus. May it be G‑d's will that while the harm to yourself is still minor.

With blessings for a good inscription and sealing, on behalf of the Lubavitcher Rebbe shlita, Mazkir
