נמסר לי מכתבו לקה"ת ובו הסיפורים אודות הרה"ג הרה"ח והרה"צ הר"ה מפאריטש. ומה טוב יהי' אם יעלה על הכתב מזכרונותיו הנ"ל, ומזכרונותיו בדברי ימי החסידים והחסידות, שבטח שמורים בזכרונו, בכלל - אשר בודאי שמע הרבה בביתם ובליובאוויטש וכו'. ובטח שמורים ג"כ בזכרונו שמות האנשים מהם שמע ודרגת הסמכות שלהם. וכבר ידוע עד כמה הי' מייקר כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר מסירת ענין או סיפור לכל פרטיו, ואפילו פרטים שלכאורה הם חיצונים, היינו באיזה מעמד ומצב, מי הי' נוכח וכו'.

It would be very good if you would also write down your aforementioned memories, as well as your recollections regarding the history of Chasidim and Chasidus, which are surely preserved in your memory in general—certainly you heard much at home and in Lubavitch, etc.
Surely you also remember the names of those from whom you heard these stories and their level of authority.
It is already well known how much my father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe, valued transmitting a matter or story with all its details—even those that seem external, such as the setting, who was present, etc.
