I received your letters from the 10th and 7th of Menachem Av with the enclosed item, and may the One Above grant you merit and success so that after this good beginning you will be able to continue this matter as we discussed when you were here.

It is well known from our Sages that when a person opens their heart to the One Above even as much as the eye of a needle, the One Above opens up for them paths of blessing and success as wide as the entrance of the Ulam that was in the Beis HaMikdash. Chassidus further explains about the entrance of the Ulam: all other entrances to the Beis HaMikdash had doors and were therefore sometimes open and sometimes closed, but the entrance to the Ulam had no door and was always open for those already standing in the Azarah. This is G‑d's assurance: when one makes even a small beginning—as thin as a needle's eye—G‑d's blessing and success are always open like the entrance of the Ulam.
