Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter—without indication of when it was written—in which you write that although you are quite satisfied with what was transferred to..., for now your salary is not sufficient for your needs and this affects your mood.
It is surprising that after you have tangibly seen the kindness of Hashem with you, do you truly not have enough faith in His ability that with absolute certainty He will also continue to show you kindness in the future and bring you out from distress? Even if, for reasons we do not understand, the matter is delayed, only the Creator of the world who knows the future and true good can decide in what manner it is best for a person and his family to bring them to their true happiness—both materially and spiritually. If this is true even regarding people whose situation has worsened compared to before and is also less than those around them and acquaintances, how much more so is it clear regarding those whose situation has improved compared to the past. In these difficult months, your situation is certainly better than many others around you who nevertheless do not despair G‑d forbid; all the more so should neither you nor your wife lose heart or become saddened G‑d forbid. We have already seen and experienced in practice that the greater a person's trust in Hashem and his joyful outlook on his future, the sooner these things are fulfilled practically.
I hope that soon you will gladden me with good news regarding all of the above—both concerning yourself and your wife.
With blessing.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that strong trust in Hashem and maintaining joy hasten positive outcomes. Reflecting on past kindnesses should reinforce our faith that G‑d will continue to provide goodness in both material and spiritual matters.
