במענה על מכתבו מה' תמוז בו כותב אשר הסברא להסתדר ב... לע"ע לא בא לפועל ושואל חוות דעתי בנוגע להנהגה להבא ובאיזה אופן לחפש משרה מתאימה.
הנה בודאי ידועים לו הארגונים שדרך בם מחפשים משרות רבנות מהוגנות או משרות חנוך וכמו אגוד הרבנים תורה ומסורה וכיו"ב ובודאי יש לו מכירים בין חברי ארגונים אלה שיוכלו לזרז את בקשתו בענין הנ"ל אבל לאידך גיסא וכמדומה שגם אמרתי לו זה בהיותו כאן, צריך הי' להשתדל להיטיב המצב במקומו עתה וזה שבמשך הזמן הורע שם בנוגע לרוחניות הרי ידוע שבשעת מלחמה כשהולכת המלחמה ומתגברת אין העצה לזה לנוס למקום מנוחה אלא אדרבה להוסיף אומץ במקום בו נמצא מתאים להמצב שנתקלקל והנמשל מובן, והשי"ת ינחהו בדרך הישרה והטובה לפניו בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

In response to your letter from the 5th of Tammuz in which you write that the idea to settle in... has not yet materialized, and you ask my opinion regarding how to proceed and how to search for a suitable position. Certainly, you are aware of the organizations through which one seeks respectable rabbinic or educational positions, such as Agudat HaRabbanim, Torah U'Mesorah, and similar groups. Surely you have acquaintances among the members of these organizations who can help expedite your request in this matter.
On the other hand—and I believe I also told you this when you were here—you should have tried to improve the situation in your current place. The fact that over time things have deteriorated there spiritually is well known; during war, when the battle intensifies, the advice is not to flee to a place of rest but rather to increase strength where one is found, appropriate to the situation that has worsened. The lesson is clear.
May Hashem guide you on the straight and good path before you in both material and spiritual matters together.
