... And in these days of preparation for the days of redemption of our Rebbe, my father-in-law, the leader of our generation, it is similar to what was discussed at the farbrengen on Shabbat Mevarchim Chodesh Tammuz: when one needs to free someone from a pit of captivity, first the head is freed and all the limbs that are connected to the head of that body go along with it. So too in a complete stature—even though it follows 'after the head goes, the body follows,' nevertheless one must be strongly attached. This is accomplished by following the straight path he taught us and walking in his ways forever and ever. Then it becomes an actual reality that 'the righteous person who has passed away is found in all worlds more than during his lifetime,' meaning also in this world of action, as explained in Igeres HaKodesh by Rabbeinu HaZaken chapter 27 and its commentary.
With blessings for chassidic nachas from all his children—may they live—for him and his wife—may they live.
