Shalom u'Vrachah!
Your letter from the 9th of Iyar was received, as well as your telegram. Surely you received my reply by telegram: a speedy recovery awaits good news, and may it be His will that you fulfill my request as soon as possible.
I was shocked to read in your letter that you attribute these matters to my supposed upset, G‑d forbid. This is not my way at all to bear a grudge, etc., etc. If only all good events—both materially and spiritually—would be attributed to me! May Hashem grant you success so that you too will be among those who experience only good…
I await good news in all the above and bless you to receive the Torah with joy and inwardness.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches not to attribute misfortune to another's supposed upset or grudge. Instead, we should focus on attributing only goodness to others and strive for blessings in both material and spiritual matters.
