Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"n oseik b'tzt"z Moreinu HaRav Avraham
Shalom u'Vrachah!
I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 3rd, 9th, 12th, and 26th of Nissan, and I hope that my telegrams for Pesach and for the Kinus of Tzeirei Agudas Chassidei Chabad were received in time. Certainly you will write in appropriate detail about how the gathering went—the nature and number of participants—and most importantly, about the actual results that came from it.
I am troubled by the fact that apparently the reason for delaying the permission to bring in the books is not known in your circles; if it were known, it would be easier to challenge it. For they said verbally—almost officially—that Kehot books compete with those printed in Eretz HaKodesh. Clearly this is baseless, as it is contrary to reality. Since I strongly hope they will approve the contract, a list has been sent as you requested from Kehot publications as a proposal for a new shipment.
...It is necessary to instill among Anash the idea that we are all parts of one complete structure. When someone tries to "make Shabbos for himself," it does not result in receiving a larger portion of Leviathan or Shor HaBar or greater honor in this physical world—and even more so in this material world—but on the contrary. It is impossible for one part of a complete structure to be as it should be or even enhanced while it tries to grab another's portion or at least does not allow him his rightful place. Such an approach leads to problems both because of this mistaken calculation and due to undesirable haste and secrecy altogether. See also Iggeres HaKodesh section 31...
Blessings for proper health for him and all his family—awaiting good news on all the above.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that Chasidim must see themselves as parts of one unified whole; striving for personal gain at another's expense harms everyone. True success comes from mutual respect and cooperation within the community.
