במענה על מכתבם מט' ניסן, הנה נעם לי לקרות במכתבם אשר תקותם שיתוספו ספסלי[ם] במוסדות החינוך שלהם ויה"ר מהשי"ת שיצליחו בחינוך בנות ישראל בדרך ישראל סבא אשר נקראים הם בתוה"ק בשם עקרת הבית בית ישראל להיות בית כל אחת מהן מקדש לשכינתו ית' וכמבואר בארוכה במכתבי הכללי וידוע פסק רז"ל הבא לטהר מסייעין אותו ובפרט כשמעלין בקדש.

In response to your letter from the 9th of Nisan, I was pleased to read in your letter that you hope more benches (students) will be added in your educational institutions. May it be the will of Hashem that you succeed in educating the daughters of Israel in the path of Yisrael Saba, who are called in our holy Torah "akeres habayis" (mainstay of the home), "Beis Yisrael," so that each one's home becomes a sanctuary for His Divine Presence, as explained at length in my general letter. It is well known the ruling of our Sages: one who comes to purify is assisted—especially when one ascends in holiness.
With blessings for success and with holiday blessings.
Due to the sanctity of the festival, the Rebbe did not personally sign this letter.
