און זיכער - ווי איך האב שוין געזאגט אייער מאן הרה"ח שי' -זוכט איר וועגען ווי צו איינווירקען אויך אויף אייער סביבה אריינבריינגען אין איר די ווארימקייט און לעבעדיקייט פון תורה ומצות בכלל און פון הנהגת החסידות בפרט, ואס דאס מאכט גיכער און גרעסער די אלע השפעות וואס השי"ת גיט מידו המלאה והרחבה אין דעם וואס מען נויטיגט זיך בגשמיות וברוחניות.
און אזוי ווי אין פרנסה גשמית זיצט מען ניט אין הויז און מען ווארט ביז עס וועט קומען ווער און אנשלאגען זיך געבען פרנסה, אזוי אויך אין דאס אויבען געזאגטע פרנסה רוחנית דארפמען ניט ווארטען ביז דער וועלכער נויטיגט זיך אין דעם זאל קומען פאדערען מען זאל עם מאכען ווארימער און לעבעדיקער אין אידישקייט און אין תורה ומצות, נאר מען דארף ארויסגיין זוכען עם. און ווען מען וויל אויף אן אמת, איז מען מצליח סיי אין געפינען און סיי אין דער ווירקונג, וואס דאס גיט צו מער חשק צו טאן אין דעם אויך ווייטער מיט הצלחה.

I was pleased to receive regards from you during Purim time through your husband, Haraha"ch havavac"h iy"a nu"n ossek b'tzt"z Moreinu HaRav...
May Hashem help that you should always be able to share good news about both of you, both materially and spiritually.
And certainly—as I have already told your husband, Haraha"ch—seek ways to also influence your surroundings, bringing into them the warmth and vitality of Torah and mitzvos in general and of chassidic conduct in particular. This hastens and increases all the blessings that Hashem gives with His full and generous hand in everything needed materially and spiritually.
Just as with material livelihood one does not sit at home waiting for someone to come knocking to offer a livelihood, so too with the above-mentioned spiritual livelihood: one should not wait until someone in need comes asking to be made warmer and more alive in Judaism and in Torah and mitzvos; rather, one must go out and seek them.
And when one truly wants this, one succeeds both in finding such people and in influencing them. This adds even more enthusiasm to continue this work further with success.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that we must actively seek opportunities to help others grow spiritually—just as we do not passively wait for material sustenance, so too we should not wait for others to request spiritual inspiration. Initiative brings greater blessing.
