In response to your letter from 28 Nissan, in which you write about the situation in the yeshiva and that for several reasons some are suggesting you leave your yeshiva and go work elsewhere, and you ask my opinion on this matter.

It is obvious and without any doubt that on the contrary—if, as you write, the situation of the yeshiva is not as it should be—the advice is to fix it, not to leave the yeshiva. Rather, one should increase strength and courage to improve it, to expand it and elevate it. First and foremost, the responsibility lies with those who work and participate in the affairs of the yeshiva and who recognize the preciousness of Torah study in general and especially the study of Pnimius HaTorah. There is no need to elaborate further. It is well known the saying of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal: "The Aibershter never remains a debtor," especially since "according to the pain is the reward." If you are pressured or enticed to leave the yeshiva but do not do so, your merit and reward are exceedingly great. As stated in Mishnah: "The reward for a mitzvah is a mitzvah," so you will see reward through success in your activities in the yeshiva. This will naturally bring additional blessing and success in your personal matters as well.
