I acknowledge receipt of your letter from Rosh Chodesh Iyar and the previous one before it, as well as from the 14th of Nissan. Thank you for the good news that the studies are in order and that the students are learning as they should. May Hashem grant them success, and may you merit to see good fruit from your efforts, in line with the will and blessing of our holy leaders, the Nesi'im of Israel.

Thank you for the list of students who publicly review Chassidus. It is unfortunate that this review happens only once over several Shabbasos; surely they made use of Pesach days spent at home to review in their new environment.

Regarding some students learning the skill of shochet u'bodek (ritual slaughterer and inspector), due to their situation and aptitude—if this is indeed the administration's opinion, it is correct to do so immediately, provided they also have a lesson in Gemara with Rashi and Tosafos.

The increase in time devoted to studying Chassidus by the students from Morocco is very proper; however: a) there should be a proportional increase in quantity; b) it should come through their own initiative. Certainly arranging this can be achieved through positive peer motivation.

Summary

The Rebbe encourages frequent public review of Chassidus, supports practical vocational training when suitable, and emphasizes expanding both the quantity and self-motivation of Chassidus study among Moroccan students.
