I was pleased to receive your letter from the first of Tzav, in which you write about your settling and work in Eretz HaKodesh (the Holy Land), may it be rebuilt and established. Surely, even though you did not mention it in your letter, you participate from time to time in chassidic gatherings (hitvaaduyot), which are among those matters that cannot be replaced by any other activity, as explained in several talks of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), which you have surely seen.

I conveyed your regards to my mother the Rebbetzin sheyichyeh, and she was pleased to hear about your experiences, for she remembers your entire family well and even told me some events concerning you personally.

I see that you are involved in publishing (mo"l), and surely you use this opportunity to increase the light of Torah and Judaism in Eretz HaKodesh. As is known from the saying of the tzt"z: "A word that appears in print is for generations," so it is understood both the merit and responsibility upon the publisher.

As per your request, when I am at the holy resting place (tziyun) of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), I will mention you and your family for all their needs.

With the upcoming festival days approaching us and all Israel for good, I hereby express my blessing for a kosher and joyous Pesach.

And for the fulfillment of the hoped-for promise: "KiYemei Tzeitcha Me'eretz Mitzrayim Arenu Niflaot" (As in the days when you left Egypt I will show you wonders)—in our true and complete redemption, speedily in his days and in ours through Moshiach Tzidkeinu.

P.S.: In response to your question: I am interested in all printed matters that have any connection to Jews or Judaism. It has already become customary among many to send my library everything they print or publish. Although I do not have a fund for such expenses, my library exchanges with anyone who wishes on books published by Kehot Publication Society. Surely you have seen Kehot's publication list; there are several catalogs with our people in Eretz HaKodesh.
