I was pleased to see you at the Simchas Beis HaShoevah, but I am used to seeing you also after Simchas Torah, and this time I did not see you, even though the farbrengen lasted several hours after Havdalah—at others'.
It is well known that spiritual matters are not bound by place, and even if at times it seems that one does not feel it openly, nevertheless one receives the effect. I hope that my good thoughts about you have reached you, and even if you did not feel it openly, it was still received internally and with time will emerge openly.
My father-in-law, the Rebbe, used to say that Chassidim are clever; therefore they do not postpone for later what can be done earlier. May Hashem help you that for you this should be as soon as possible in good and joyful things...
