במענה על מכתבו עם הפ"נ שקבלתי היום,
כבקשתו אקראם על ציון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ, וצדיקא דאתפטר, דאשתכח בהאי עלמא יתיר מבחיוהי, יתן ברכתו לכל אחד ואחת המוזכרים בהם לכל המצטרך להם בגשמיות וברוחניות, והשי"ת ימלא ברכותיו על מילואן.
ת"ח ת"ח על התשורה היקרה ששלח במכתבו, הוא עלה גוף כתב יד קדש כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ. ומבואר בכמה מקומות בדא"ח שיש כוח האומן בכלי, ועפ"י זה מובן שכמו כן נמצא כח הכותב בכתבו. ובפרט שבעלה זה מדובר בנוגע לתורת החסידות, אשר רבי וחסידות הם בהתעצמות.
בודאי אך למותר הוא לעוררו על התחזקות בקביעת עתים, ביחוד, בלימוד תורת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ נוסף על שאר השעורים. ומה טוב אם יש לימוד כזה גם בחבורה, אשר איש את רעהו יחזק ויעורר.
החותם בברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה והצלחה בעבודתו בקדש להשפיע על
התלמידים תורה ומצות ביראת שמים, וענינא דיומא, בהתעוררות תשובה אמתית, וכאמור בדברי הרב הוא כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ הנדפסים בקונטרס לראש השנה המוסג"פ מה שאמר בער"ה דשנת השי"ת, ויהי רצון שיוכל לבשר בשורות טובות בזה לעתים תכופות

In response to your letter with the pan that I received today: as you requested, I will read them at the Tziyun of my father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m. And as it is known that a tzaddik who has passed on is found in this world even more than during his lifetime, he will give his blessing to each and every one mentioned in them for all their needs both materially and spiritually. May Hashem fulfill his blessings completely.
Thank you very much for the precious gift you sent in your letter—an actual page of handwritten holy script from my father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m. It is explained in several places in Chassidus that there is power of the craftsman within his vessel; accordingly, it is understood that so too there is power of the writer within his writing. Especially since this page concerns Toras HaChassidus, where Rebbe and Chassidus are united in essence.
Certainly it is hardly necessary to remind you to strengthen your fixed study times—especially in learning my father-in-law’s Torah—beyond your other studies. How good it would be if such learning also took place with a group so that each person strengthens and inspires his friend.
I sign with blessings for a good inscription and sealing and success in your holy work to influence students toward Torah and mitzvos with awe of Heaven. And regarding the matter of these days—with an awakening of true teshuvah—as stated by my father-in-law whose words are printed in the booklet for Rosh Hashanah enclosed herewith from what he said on Erev Rosh Hashanah of this year. May it be G‑d’s will that you will be able to report good news about this frequently.
