במענה על מכתבו מיום ו' ערש"ק פ' ראה, שמחתי לקרוא במכתבו מהקביעת עתים בתורה שיש אצלו הן בנגלה הן בדא"ח ובטח יהי' חזק בזה, כי זהו כלים רחבים להמשכת וקבלת השפעות כל טוב הן בגשמיות והן ברוחניות.
מזכיר הוא במכתבו אשר אחיו הצעיר נמצא עתה באה"ק ת"ו ומהנכון שיציע לו להתקשר שם עם אנ"ש שי' הנמצאים בירושלים ת"ו, ובדברים המתאימים לפי רוחו להסביר לו גודל הנחיצות בפרט בדורות אלו דעקבתא דמשיחא ללמוד תורת הדא"ח שהיא אילנא דחיי, וכהבטחת הזהר, בו יפקון ישראל מגלותא בחסד וברחמים. ובטח בהשתדלות הראוי' יצליח שיתחיל בזה אחיו שי'.
ת"ח על הבשורה אדות ש"ב... שי' שנתקשר בשעה טובה ומוצלחת בשידוך הגון.
ויהי רצון שתהי' החתונה בזמן הראוי ויבנו בית בישראל על יסודי התורה והמצוה.
בעת הכושר אזכירו על ציון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ כפי בקשתו לשידוך הגון ובטח ישמיע בשורות טובות בזה.

In response to your letter from Friday, Erev Shabbat Parshat Re'eh, I was happy to read about your set times for Torah study—both in Nigleh and in Chassidus. Certainly you will remain strong in this, as these are broad vessels for drawing down and receiving all kinds of good influence, both materially and spiritually.
You mention in your letter that your younger brother is now in Eretz HaKodesh. It is appropriate to suggest to him that he connect there with Anash who are in Jerusalem. In a manner suitable to his temperament, explain to him the great necessity—especially in these generations of Ikveta d'Meshicha—to study the teachings of Chassidus, which is the Tree of Life. As the Zohar promises: 'Bo Yifkun Yisrael MiGaluta BeChesed U'Berachamim' (Through it Israel will go out from exile with kindness and mercy). Surely with proper effort you will succeed so that your brother will begin this as well.
Thank you for the good news regarding Sh.B... who has become engaged at an auspicious and successful time to a fitting match. May it be G‑d's will that the wedding take place at the right time and that they build a home in Israel on the foundations of Torah and mitzvah.
At an opportune time I will mention him at the gravesite of my father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m, as you requested regarding a suitable match. Certainly you will share further good news about this.
