שני מכתביו מא' פ' ראה ומב' דר"ח אלול עם המוסגר בהם נתקבלו, וחבל על אשר ממשיך כל כך בהכניסה למרכז הרבנים ובהכשר הענינים המביאים לזה. ועוה"פ הנני לעוררו להזדרזו בזה כפי האפשר, ובטח יודיע בשורה טובה מפרי השתדלותו בזה.
שמחתי לקרוא במכתבו שהוטב מצבו בביהכנ"ס ובודאי מנצל (ניצט אויס) ימי חודש אלול ובפרט חודש תשרי הבע"ל למטרת החזקת הרעיון שהוא הוא הרב בביהכנ"ס על ידי נאומים המתאימים וכו' וכו'...
ת"ח על טרחתו לשלוח לי מכתבי כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ שהיו אצל הוו"ח אי"א וכו' מו"ה משה הכהן שי' שייעוויץ ואחרי שיעשו העתקות כמובן שיחזירו לו האריגינאלים. ובטח אכתוב לו מכתב תודה מיוחד.
שמחתי להידיעה אשר מר שמואל שי' כץ כבר הי' בביהכנ"ס ות"ח על טרחתו להמציא לנו נדבתו להמל"ח ושולחים לו קבלה על כתבתו ומכתב אשר העתקתו מוסג"פ.
טוב עשה אשר קיבל הצעתו של... לסדר הקידושין אצל בנו ובאשר שישנם עוד איזה חדשים עד החתונה יחפש דרכים איך לדבר - או בעצמו או על ידי מכריו, על לב בנו ועל לב הכלה בענין טהרת המשפחה, אשר זה נוגע להם ולבריאות יוצאי חלציהם עד סוף כל הדורות, הן בגשמיות והן ברוחניות, ובטח יתחיל בנחת ודברי חכמים בנחת נשמעים.
המחכה לבשורות טובות ממנו וחותם בברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה להצלחה בעבודתו בקדש בתור רב ומנהיג עדתו אשר מינהו לזה כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ, ושיהי' כלי ראוי לזה,

Your two letters from the first day of Parshas Re'eh and from the second day of Rosh Chodesh Elul, along with their enclosures, were received. It is unfortunate that you are continuing to delay your entry into the Rabbinic Center and the necessary preparations for this. Once again, I urge you to expedite this as much as possible, and I am sure you will inform me of good news resulting from your efforts in this matter.
I was pleased to read in your letter that your situation in the synagogue has improved. Certainly you are utilizing the days of the month of Elul—and especially the upcoming month of Tishrei—for strengthening the idea that you are indeed the rabbi in the synagogue through appropriate speeches and so on.
Thank you for your effort in sending me the letters of my father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m, which were with vavac"h iy"a etc. Meho"h Moshe HaKohen Shayewitz. After copies are made as expected, please return the originals to him. I will certainly write him a special thank-you letter.
I was happy to hear that Mr. Shmuel Katz has already been at the synagogue; thank you for your effort in forwarding us his donation for Melamed Chabad. We are sending him a receipt for his contribution and a letter whose copy is enclosed herewith.
You did well in accepting the suggestion to arrange your son's kiddushin (wedding). Since there are still several months until the wedding, seek ways—either yourself or through acquaintances—to speak to your son and his bride about family purity. This affects them and their descendants' health both physically and spiritually until the end of all generations. Surely you will begin gently, as words of wise men are heard when spoken gently.
Awaiting good news from you and signing with blessings for a good inscription and sealing for success in your holy work as rabbi and leader of your congregation—appointed by my father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m—and that you should be a fitting vessel for this.
