במענה על מכתבו מב' עקב אשר שואל כיון שכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ כתב לו "שנכון להשתדל לנסיעה לאה"ב והשי"ת יעזרהו בנסיעה כשורה והסתדרות טובה" וכותב שהשגת הניירות הולכת לאט לאט, והמצב כעת הוא אי בטוח, ושואל עצה מה לעשות,
לפי דעתי נכון יהי' לבו בטוח אשר הבטחת צדיק הוא כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ תתקיים ובודאי יעזרהו השי"ת לנסיעה כשורה למחוז חפצו צלחה. ובלבד שיהי' חזק בבטחונו ואמונתו ובהתקשרותו לצדיק הדור הוא נשיאנו כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ.
בנוגע לשאלתו בענין בחינת הזרע, הנה עושין הבחינה באופן שלוקחין הזרע מהרחם אחר התשמיש בתכיפות האפשריית, ומביאים אותו בהקדם האפשרי למקום שבוחנים אותו - וסמוכין להיתר זה עפ"י שו"ת הצ"צ חאה"ע ספ"ט, שמתיר לשמש במוך במקום כו' וכש"כ באופן הנ"ל. ודלא כמחמירים בזה (הובאו בשד"ח אסיפת דינים מע' אישות ס"א. ובפאת שם). ובטח ישאל תחילה את הרופא איך לשמור על הזרע באופן שיהי' ראוי' לבחינה.
ומה שכותב בענין המיחושים שאצלו, הנה בטח אין זה אלא מרה שחורה בלבד, וידוע העצה לזה עפ"י המבואר בתורה אור לאדה"ז פ' תולדות ביאור לד"ה מים רבים, אשר במרה שחורה טוב להשתמש לענין התמדה בלימוד. וכמובן באופן שלא יחליש בריאותו ח"ו. וכשאהי' על ציון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ אקרא הפדיונות המוסג' במכתבו, ובודאי הצדיק יברך והשי"ת ימלא ברכות צדיק, דאשתכח בהאי עלמא יתיר מבחיוהי, על מילואן, בגשמיות וברוחניות.

In response to your letter from the second day of Eikev in which you ask—since my revered father-in-law the Rebbe hk"m wrote to you that "it is proper to strive to travel to America and Hashem will help you with a proper journey and good settlement," and you write that obtaining the papers is progressing slowly, and the current situation is insecure, and you ask for advice on what to do—In my opinion, your heart should be confident that the promise of a tzaddik—my revered father-in-law the Rebbe hk"m—will be fulfilled. Surely Hashem will help you with a proper journey to your desired destination successfully. The main thing is that you remain strong in your trust and faith and in your connection to the tzaddik of the generation—our Nasi, my revered father-in-law the Rebbe hk"m.
Regarding your question about the examination of seed: The examination is done by taking the seed from the womb after marital relations as soon as possible and bringing it as quickly as possible to the place where it will be examined. There is halachic support for this practice according to tzt"z Even HaEzer section 89, who permits using a cloth for this purpose under certain circumstances—and all the more so in this manner. This differs from those who are stringent (see Sdei Chemed Asifat Dinim Ma'arechet Ishut section 1 and Pe'at Shem). Certainly consult a doctor first on how to preserve the sample so it will be suitable for testing.
As for what you write about your ailments: Surely this is only melancholy (marah shechorah), and it is known that Torah Or by Admor HaZaken Parshat Toldot explains at length that melancholy can be used positively for diligence in study—as long as it does not weaken one's health G‑d forbid.
When I am at the resting place of my revered father-in-law the Rebbe hk"m I will read the pidyonos enclosed in your letter, and surely the tzaddik will bless you and Hashem will fulfill the blessings of a tzaddik—who is found in this world even more than during his lifetime—in all matters both materially and spiritually.
