במענה על מכתבו מי"א מנחם אב, שמציעים לבתו מרת... תי' שידוך עם הרה"ח וכו'... לפי דעתי נכון הדבר.
ומה שכותב שאפשר יזמין השי"ת בחור בן תורה ומדות טובות ביותר, הנה ידוע פתגם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ אונזערע זיבורית איז בעסער ווי זייערע עידית", ועל אחת כמה וכמה שעדית שלנו טובה מעידית שבעידית שלהם.
ויהי רצון שהתקשרות ענבי הגפן בענבי הגפן תהי' בשעה טובה ומוצלחת ובכלי רחבה לקבלת כל טוב.
בטח יש לו קביעת עתים ללימוד תורת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ נוסף על שאר שיעוריו.

In response to your letter from the 11th of Menachem Av, in which you write about a proposed shidduch for your daughter Mrs.... with Haraha"ch etc..., in my opinion this is appropriate.
Regarding your concern that perhaps Hashem will provide a young man who is even more outstanding in Torah and character traits: it is well known the saying of my father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m: "Our zibburit (inferior land) is better than their idit (superior land)," and all the more so that our best is better than their very best.
May it be G‑d's will that the union of 'the vine with the vine' should take place at an auspicious and successful time, with ample vessels to receive all good.
Certainly you have set times for studying the teachings of my father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m, in addition to your other studies.
