Shalom u'Vrachah!
I received your letter and thank you for the information within. May it be G‑d's will that your stay, together with your family, in pleasant surroundings will bring the desired benefit in literal physical healing and strengthening.
As the saying of my father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m, in the name of his father the Rebbe (his soul is in Eden): How precious is the body that so much Torah is poured into it. See Rambam Hilchos Deos ch. 4: Being physically healthy and whole is among the ways of Hashem. From this we learn all the more so how important it is for the soul to be healthy. If every year one must strive for this, how much more so should one strengthen oneself especially during times when there is focus on physical healing, so as not to reach a situation where bodily strength becomes weakness of soul (Zohar I:180b). See also Shabbos (147b) regarding Mey DiYomses etc.
This is not just a homily but meant to awaken you to use these days and matters of physical healing to strengthen the soul—that is, to add a special study session during vacation days and seek opportunities to inspire others who come to relax in your area toward Torah, avodah, and acts of kindness—each according to their situation. Sometimes it is worthwhile even to explain that none of us knows the secret of Divine Providence; perhaps your entire coming to this place was so you could add precious stones to the crown of the King of kings, Hakadosh Baruch Hu.
My father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m already said that outreach efforts never return empty-handed. And he is trustworthy and reliable.
With wishes for a healthy summer in body and soul, and regards as usual.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that caring for one's physical health serves spiritual growth. He urges using vacation time for extra Torah study and inspiring others around us—reminding us that every effort in outreach has lasting impact.
