אין נאמען פון "מרכז לעניני חינוך" און אין מיין נאמען וויל איך אייך הערצליך דאנקען פאר דער ווארימער אויפנאמע וואס איר און אייער ווירדיגע עקרת הבית האט ארויסגעוויזען אונזער חשוב'ען מיטארבעטער הרה"ג הרה"ח וכו' מוהר"ר שלמה אהרן שי' קאזארנאווסקי. ניט ווייניגער דאנקען מיר אייך פאר אייער חשובער מיטהילף דורך דער ווייטערדיגער ביישטייערונג צו די קאסטען פון דרוקען די בארימטע ספרים-ענציקלפעדיא "שדי חמד" פון ר' חיים חזקי' מדיני ז"ל. אן אפיציעלע קבלה איז דא בייגעלייגט.
בנוגע דער וויכטיקייט פון דעם ספר און דעם גרויסען זכות וואס כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר דער ליובאוויטשער רבי שליט"א האט אייך מזכה געווען איז איבעריק צו שרייבן נאכדעם ווי איך האב דאס אין אלגעמיינע שטריכען אנגעדייטעט אין מיין פאריגען בריוו. איך וויל דא נאר באמערקן דאס די איניציאטיוו פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א צו דרוקן דעם ספר אונטערשטרייכט די אל-ארומנעמענדע פארצווייגטע ארבעט פון מיין שווער שליט"א, וועלכע פארבינדעט די העכסט טיפע חקירה וויסנשאפט פון דער תורה און חסידות מיט דעם טאג-טעגליכן לעבן פון א אידן.
דעם דאזיגען גרונט-פרינציפ געפינען מיר אין תורה בכלל און די עשרת הדברות בפרט, וואס מיר לערנען אין דער סדרה פון דער היינטיקער וואך.
די עשרת הדברות הויבען זיך אן מיט "אנכי" - וואס ענטהאלט די טיפסטע געדאנקען פון
ג-טליכקייט, יחוד, השגחה פרטית און אמונה בכלל, און לאזען זיך אויס מיט גאנץ לייכט פארשטענדליכע מצוות פון "כבוד אב ואם", "לא תרצח", "לא תגנוב", א. ד. ג. וואס דאס ווייזט אז אונזער אמונה איז ניט קיין אבסטראקטע זאך בלויז פאר דענקער און פילאזאפן, נאר לאזט זיך אראפ אין טאג-טעגליכן לעבן.
אט אזוי זארגט אויך כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א ארויסצוגעבן ספרים ניט נאר אויפן געביט פון חסידישער פילאזאפיע נאר אויך אזעלכע ספרים ווי די "שדי חמד" וועלכע ענטהאלטען פסקי דינים בנוגע אלע טאג-טעגליכע איבערלעבונגען פון א אידן.
מיר ווינשען אייך, און אייער ווירדיגע פרוי און זון שיחיו דאס דער זכות פון העלפן דרוקן דעם ספר זאל אייך ביישטיין געבענטשט צו וערן אין טאג-טעגליכן לעבן מיט אלעס גוטעס בגשמיות וברוחניות.

No less do we thank you for your important assistance through your continued contribution to the costs of printing the renowned encyclopedia "Shdei Chemed" by Reb Chaim Chizkiyah Medini z"l. An official receipt is attached.
Regarding the importance of this sefer and the great merit that my father-in-law, the Lubavitcher Rebbe shlita, has granted you—there is no need to elaborate after I already outlined this in general terms in my previous letter.
I only wish to note here that my father-in-law's initiative to print this sefer underscores his all-encompassing and multifaceted work, which connects the deepest intellectual investigation of Torah and Chassidus with the daily life of a Jew.
This fundamental principle is found in Torah generally and in the Aseres HaDibros (the Ten Commandments) specifically, which we learn in this week's parsha. The Aseres HaDibros begin with "Anochi" (I am [G‑d])—containing the deepest ideas of G‑dliness, unity, Divine providence, and faith—and conclude with easily understandable mitzvos like "Honor your father and mother," "Do not murder," "Do not steal," etc. This shows that our faith is not an abstract matter only for thinkers and philosophers but descends into daily life.
Similarly, my father-in-law ensures that books are published not only on Chassidic philosophy but also such works as "Shdei Chemed," which contains halachic rulings regarding all daily experiences of a Jew.
We wish you—and your esteemed wife and son—that the merit of helping print this sefer should stand by you as a blessing to be successful in all good things materially and spiritually in daily life.
