In response to your letter from last Tuesday, it is surprising that you make a claim against us, as we have never received any letter or subscription payment from you. Please ensure that anything related to us is sent to our address. Your request will certainly be fulfilled precisely.

The booklets you recently received are sample issues we send out, and it was surprising that we had not received any reply from you until now. Now we are pleased to add your name to the list of subscribers, and you will receive the new booklets regularly with G‑d's help. Surely you will send the subscription fee and also try to acquire more readers for them. You have surely recognized their great value, and it is proper to make these "Shmuessen" and "Talks" household topics in every Jewish home.

From the enclosed bulletin you will see the great work being done by the Central Organization for Education under the presidency of my father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita, in the field of education and various printing projects that have been published. We are also sending you samples of printed materials that have appeared recently. Surely there is room in our camp as well for spreading these printed materials and improving the overall state of education.

We especially wish to draw your attention to "Shabbat Gatherings" (a report about this work will be sent to you), and perhaps you will agree to organize such gatherings in our camp.

Having heard your good reputation, we are confident that you will take a heartfelt interest in the work of Melach (Central Organization for Education), and we look forward to hearing soon about what is being done in our camp for religious education.

At a time when Haman arose seeking to destroy and kill (as told), Mordechai—not only did he ask Esther to plead before Achashverosh—but as our Sages relate (Midrash Rabbah Esther at its end), he gathered Jewish children and taught them Torah, especially laws relevant when the Beis HaMikdash would be rebuilt. According to our Sages' words, through this action Haman's decree was nullified.

This means that in times of trouble for Yaakov (the Jewish people), one of the main ways to save all Israel is educating Jewish boys—and girls—in the spirit of Torah and Judaism, instilling hope for redemption—and never despair—soon in our days through Moshiach Tzidkeinu, into their hearts. Then "it will be turned around so that the Jews will rule...and for the Jews there was light and joy and gladness and honor."
