Shalom u'Vrachah!

In response to your invitation and that of your brother, the Temimim students, to come and join you in the joy of the completion of Kesher HaTorah: After expressing my thanks for the invitation, due to circumstances beyond my control I am unable to travel from here for several days. I must suffice with participating in your joy from afar physically but closely in spirit.

I send my blessing from here: He who declares the end from the beginning (and it can be said that "the beginning"—through our current efforts, whose general nature is from below to above; the gateway through which one enters is 'a woman who fears G‑d,' and through this comes 'the end'—the revelation of the world of freedom, Yovel and even higher—the revelation of Mashiach Tzidkeinu which are the revelations of the future; "He will sound a great shofar," "and with great awe." See Likkutei Torah Sicha DeHevin Ma Shekatuv BaHaggadah and Devarim HaYom Hu Yitaka s.v.)—will say about one who cleaves to good: "He who finds a wife finds good," for through the woman blessing is drawn down into physical life and actual material sustenance (see Likkutei Torah at the end of Parshas Berachah).

It can be said that this is also a second explanation in "He who declares the end from the beginning": a drawing down from above to below—which comes through work from below to above as mentioned—'beginning,' Chochmah (see Devarim HaYom Hu Vayita Eshel 5701 which indicates the wondrousness of the sefirah of Chochmah), 'end,' Malchus—the end and conclusion of all sefirot and influences.

I will conclude with a precious saying I heard from my father-in-law, the Rebbe shlit"a—Motzaei Shabbos Parshas Noach 5691—in connection with a maamar Chassidus he said then—Parshas Noach: "Tzohar taaseh lateivah." He said: This is how one learns in Gan Eden; this is a pshat from Gan Eden. "Tzohar taaseh lateivah"—make a radiance for the ark—and then there will be "a canopy for you from heat by day." The completion comes from above—that even vessels are made from below. And the Rebbe (the Alter Rebbe) gave someone with this actual physical life. End quote.

P.S. I do not know if they have there the aforementioned maamar Tzohar 5691; therefore I am enclosing it herewith. In it is found an explanation at length about Tzohar as mentioned above. Since I have only this copy, please return it to me and thank you in advance.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that even when physical presence is not possible, heartfelt blessings connect us spiritually. He highlights marriage as a channel for Divine blessing and draws deep lessons from chassidic teachings on bringing light into our lives through spiritual effort.
