עס האט מיר ספעציעל געפרייט, וואס אייער השתתפות איז אנגעקומען אין דעם יום הגאולה - י"ג תמוז, דער טאג אין וועלכן כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע איז באפרייט געווארן פון די הענט פון די יעווסעקן אין רוסלאנד אין יאר תרפ"ז. ווארום דער טאג דינט אונז אלעמען אלס ערמוטיקונג און פארשטארקונג אין אונזער ארבעט פאר תורה אידישקייט און תורה חינוך מיט מסירת נפש, לויט דעם אויסגעטראטענעם וועג וואס כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר האט אונז געפירט. און אין דעם טאג איז דער שווער דער רבי נושא רינה ותפלה פאר די אלע וועלכע גייען אין זיין וועג, אז דער אויבערשטער זאל זיי ובני ביתם שיחיו געבן געזונט און הצלחה אין פרנסה, זיי זאלן לייכטער און בעסער קענען אנטייל נעמען אין זיין הייליקער ארבעט.

Through your brother, Havavac"h iy"a nu"n mesho u'misano be'emunah etc. Yaakov HaKohen, I received your participation in our chinuch (education) work in North Africa, and enclosed is the receipt.
It gave me special pleasure that your contribution arrived on Yud-Gimmel Tammuz, the day on which my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso Eden (may his merit protect us), was freed from the hands of the Yevsektzia in Russia in the year 5687 (1927).
This day serves as encouragement and strengthening for all of us in our work for Torah, Judaism, and Torah education with self-sacrifice, according to the path that my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, led us.
On this day, my father-in-law, the Rebbe, offers song and prayer for all those who follow his path—that the Alm-ghty should grant them and their families health and success in livelihood so they can more easily and effectively participate in his holy work.
