In connection with the information I have received from various sources regarding the situation concerning a united religious front, today I sent telegrams and letters as per the attached copies, whose content needs no explanation—this is in addition to the telegram to your honor. In my opinion, it would be worthwhile for you and your two colleagues to visit all those to whom I sent telegrams and letters and emphasize that breaking unity among religious Jewry in Eretz Yisrael, G‑d forbid, besides causing great harm to the settlement there, will also cause a breakdown of unity here in America and significant financial loss. It is difficult to estimate all the future damage that could result from this, G‑d forbid.

If in your opinion it is necessary to include anyone else with you, I trust you in this matter. Of course, all of the above is merely a suggestion since you are more familiar with the situation on site. I hope that a proper decision will be reached on this matter and may Hashem grant each of us success in fulfilling our responsibilities to strengthen Torah and Judaism everywhere.
