When the Second Night of Rosh Hashanah Falls on Motzaei Shabbos

1. On the second night of Rosh Hashanah, when it falls on Motzaei Shabbos, we say "V'todienu" before "V'titen Lanu," just as on other Yom Tov days that fall on Motzaei Shabbos.

And even though it mentions "the festival offering of the pilgrimage," and Rosh Hashanah is neither a festival nor a pilgrimage festival—

This does not matter.

Because the intention is not that today is a pilgrimage festival, but rather it enumerates the order of the rectification of the gifts that Hashem gave us: "the sanctity of Shabbos, the honor of the festival, and the festival offering of the pilgrimage," and so on.

And Kiddush is recited with the order of Yaknehaz, as on other Yom Tov days that fall on Motzaei Shabbos.
