I acknowledge receipt of your letter as well as your requests for blessings from Motzaei Shabbat Kodesh, etc., and at an auspicious time it will be read at the resting place of my father-in-law the Admor zatzukal l'havdil min hachayim nishmaso b'gan eden may his merit protect us.
In response to your question—your trip here is not relevant at all. And if a vow is involved—it should be annulled according to the instruction of a rabbi. That is all.
