ויהי רצון אשר כל ההחלטות והענינים יצאו לפועל על הצד היותר טוב לטובת ביסוס הארגון והרחבתו בכמות ובאיכות גם יחד. ובפרט שזכות הרבים מסייעתן.
ועוד וגם זה עיקר, כמובן ופשוט, שזכו והצליחו ויש להן הזדמנות מיוחדה לעזור לאחינו בני ישראל שעלו מאחורי מסך הברזל –

חכמינו ז"ל שאפילו מחיצה של ברזל לא מפסיקה בין בני ישראל לאביהם שבשמים.
והרי לעזר זה סגולה מיוחדת שהנעזרות הן בשעת מעשה ובבת אחת גם עוזרות בעבודה זו על ידי היותן דוגמא חי' לחיים של מסירת נפש במשך יותר מיובל שנים בחיי היום יום.
ויתן השי"ת שהבשורות טובות מההצלחה בכל האמור תהיינה יותר מהמשוער.

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 3rd of Tammuz with the attached report. May it be G‑d's will that all the decisions and matters will be carried out in the best possible way for the benefit of strengthening and expanding the organization both quantitatively and qualitatively. Especially since the merit of the many supports you.
Moreover—and this is essential, as is obvious and simple—you have merited and succeeded, and you have a unique opportunity to help our fellow Jews who have come from behind the Iron Curtain. With them one tangibly sees the truth of our Sages' saying: "Even a barrier of iron does not separate between Israel and their Father in Heaven." This assistance has a special quality: those being helped are at that very moment also helping in this work by serving as a living example of self-sacrifice for over fifty years in daily life.
May Hashem grant that there will be good news from your success in all the above—beyond expectations. As has been discussed many times regarding our Sages' precise wording: "You labored and found," meaning that the results of effort are not only proportional to the effort but are like a find—something unexpected—and this is easily understood.
With blessings for success in all the above, and for good tidings—especially since your letter was written on Gimmel Tammuz, the day of release of my revered father-in-law, Admor, leader of Israel, from prison; and this response is written on his day of redemption, Yud-Gimmel Tammuz—thus, the merit of the Baal HaGeulah stands for you and for all Israel.
