I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from Lag BaOmer which arrived together with the book "Kimei... General and Inorganic Chemistry" and the reprints. Thank you for your attention in sending these, following our conversation when you were here together with your wife, may she live.
I hope that even though you do not mention it explicitly, that all is well with you and your family.
Many thanks to you for your kind birthday wishes; I have accepted your blessing and reciprocate: May it be fulfilled in you, 'I will bless those who bless you,' that you and all that is yours be blessed by Hashem, the source of blessings—His blessing is abundant, full, and overflowing—in both material and spiritual matters together.
This is a fitting time as we stand in days of blessing; there is no greater blessing than that Hashem chose us from among all nations and gave us His Torah.
With blessings for a joyous festival, and in the style of my revered father-in-law the Rebbe—may you receive the Torah with joy and inwardness.
