הנני לאשר קבלת מכתבו מיום ד' ניסן עם המצורף אליו, ואח"כ גם כן קבלתי המשך לזה על ידי מזכירי הרב גרונר שי'.
והנה בכלל אין תחת ידי קרנות להדפסת ספרים מסוג אודותיו כותב, יותר נכון בכלל להדפסת ספרים, פרט לספרים הנכנסים בתחום המצומצם של חסידות וחינוך הכשר או כיו"ב. ואת כ' הסליחה.
בודאי למותר להוסיף למר אשר ספר כגון זה שבדעתו להו"ל, אם יודפס על ידי חברה מדעית, או קבוצת מדענים ובפרט רופאים, הנה עצם עובדה זו מוסיף בערך הספר והשפעתו וברצון להתענין בתוכנו וכו'.
כן עלי להוסיף, אף כי בודאי גם זה ידוע למר, אשר בכמה מדינות, ותקותי אשר גם באויסטרלי' כן הוא, יש על יד מוסדות המדע אשר שם, וכן על יד המכללות וכו' קרנות להוצאת ספרים, על כל פנים סיוע להוצאת ספרים מסוג זה, ולכל הפחות להוצאת חוברות לדוגמה, סיכום החיבור או פרק מהחיבור וכיו"ב, שזה פותח דלת לקבלת תמיכה ממוסדות אפילו במדינות אחרות, או אפילו מיחידים.
ומכיון שככתבו יש בזה תועלת הרבים, יהי רצון שזכות הרבים תסייע לכ' וימלאו משאלות לבבו לטובה.
בנועם קראתי השורות האחדות ע"ד מוצא משפחתו וראשי פרקים מעבודתו בעבר. ובודאי בהמשך למסורת המשפחה עוסק כ' ככל התלוי בו לא רק בריפוי גופני אלא גם בנוגע לבריאות הנשמה של כל אלה הפונים אליו, ובהוספה – מבלי לחכות עד שיפנו אליו, שהרי חובת כל או"א מאתנו בתוככי כלל ישראל היא להפיץ היהדות וערכי' בכל מקום בלי לחכות לביקור ובקשה וכו', והרי

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from Wednesday, the 4th of Nissan with its enclosure; afterwards I also received a follow-up through my secretary Rabbi Groner.
In general, I do not have funds available for publishing books of the type you write about—indeed, not even for book publishing in general—except for those that fall within the limited scope of Chassidus and kosher education or similar areas. Please accept my apologies.
Certainly it is unnecessary to add that if such a book as you intend to publish is printed by a scientific society or a group of scientists—especially doctors—the very fact itself increases the value and influence of the book and generates interest in its content, etc.
I should also add—though surely you already know—that in many countries (and I hope this is also true in Australia), there are scientific institutions and colleges that have funds for publishing books or at least provide assistance for such works; at the very least they may help publish sample booklets or summaries or chapters from the work. This opens doors to receiving support from institutions even in other countries or even from individuals.
Since you write that this will benefit the public, may it be G‑d's will that the merit of the many will assist you and your heart's desires be fulfilled for good.
I read with pleasure your few lines about your family's origins and main points of your past work. Surely, continuing your family tradition, you are involved—as much as depends on you—not only in physical healing but also concerning the health of the soul for all who turn to you; moreover, increasing this without waiting until they approach you. After all, it is every one of our duties within all Israel to spread Judaism and its values everywhere without waiting for a visit or request etc., as "VeAhavta LeReiacha Kamocha" (You shall love your fellow as yourself) is a great principle in Torah.
