For approximately twenty-five years I have requested and pleaded before the heads of the activists for aliyah that in their efforts regarding aliyah from abroad, they should not begin with rabbis, etc., because when these rabbis make aliyah, the entire community collapses, etc. Apparently, I have not succeeded. Not only that, but when rabbis who have deserted their communities make aliyah to Eretz Yisrael and Jerusalem through the aliyah organizations, they are given words of praise and encouragement, etc., etc.! And is it really possible that through an article in a newspaper or similar means this matter will be atoned for?
