באיחור זמן רב נתקבל מכתבה, אף שמסרו לי בינתים על דבר אי-הבנה שהי' כאן שלכן לא יצאה הפגישה פנים אל פנים. והי' איכפת לי במיוחד להכיר את כ' אישית אחרי שבתה רחל תחי' ביקרה אצלי. והעיקר רציתי בהזדמנות להודות לה אישית בעד הביכלעך של חסידות שהמשיכה ומסרה כמה מהם, שחלק חשוב כבר נדפס ויש לה חלק גדול בזכות הרבים שבזה.
ואף על פי שהוא ענין של מצוה, ובפרט מצוה דרבים, שלא נצרך תודה מבשר ודם, אף על פי כן הרי גרמה לי קורת רוח ביותר. ועל כל פנים רצוני להביע זה עכשיו בכתב.
בעת רצון אזכירה על ציון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר למילוי משאלות לבבה לטובה בכל הענינים שכותבת.
והשי"ת יברכה באורך ימים ושנים טובות ורב נחת אמיתי מילידי' וצאצאי', נחת ברוח המסורה של המשפחה, נחת חסידותי.

Your letter was received after a considerable delay, even though in the meantime I was informed about a misunderstanding that occurred here which prevented a face-to-face meeting. I was especially interested in meeting you personally after your daughter Rachel, may she live, visited me.
Most importantly, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you personally for the Chassidus booklets that you continued to distribute and passed on several of them, a significant portion of which has already been printed—and you have a major share in the merit of the many who benefit from this.
Although this is a matter of mitzvah—especially a communal mitzvah—which does not require thanks from flesh and blood, nevertheless it brought me great pleasure. In any case, I wish to express this now in writing.
At an auspicious time I will mention you at the resting place of my father-in-law the Rebbe for the fulfillment of all your heart's desires for good in all matters you write about. May Hashem bless you with long days and good years and much true nachas from your children and descendants—nachas in the spirit of your family's tradition, Chassidic nachas.
