Shalom u'Vrachah!
As we approach the festival of Shavuos, the time of the giving of our Torah, which is coming upon us and all Israel for good, I hereby express my blessing in the wording of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe—may his merit protect us: to receive the Torah with joy and inwardness.

Since it seems my letter will arrive after Erev Shavuos, I have also sent a telegram, which is quoted here: My wishes for a joyous holiday and to receive the Torah with joy and inwardness, and for the fulfillment of the promise: "Veyashavtem lavetach be'artzechem venaflu oyveichem lifneichem vehayisi lachem leElokim ve'atem tihyu li le'am" ("And you shall dwell securely in your land; your enemies will fall before you; I will be your G‑d and you will be My people"). With respect, esteem, and blessing—and two are better than one.
