במענה למכתבו שנתקבל באיחור רב,
הנה בכללות ידוע

אין הקדוש ברוך הוא מבקש אלא לפי כוחו של כאו"א, ואינו בא בטרוני' עם בריותיו. וזה מובן גם בשכל, כיון שהוא ית' הבורא ויודע הכל, אין מקום שידרוש מיצור כפיו איזה דבר שיהי' מבלי תת לו הכוחות למלא הדרישה.
מזה מובן גם כן, שכשיש לאדם נסיונות, שלדעתו – או באמת – גדולים הם יותר מאשר לשני, הרי זה גופא הוכחה כי ה' נתן לו כוחות נעלים יותר להתגבר עליהם בשלימות, וכשיגלה וינצל כוחותיו הנעלים במילואם, הרי על ידי כך מקבל עלי' גדולה יותר מאלה שלא הי' להם נסיונות במידה זו.
ואם לכל אחד הדברים אמורים, על אחת כמה וכמה בנוגע לאברך שצריך עוד להקים בית בישראל ולהסתדר בחיי משפחה וכו' המיוסדים על הנסיונות בשנים שלפני זה.
בנוגע למה ששואל איך אפשר להשפיע על חבריו במוסד החינוך שלו, הרי ידוע שיש שני דרכים בזה: הא' על ידי דברים היוצאים מן הלב,

שנכנסים אל הלב ופועלים פעולתם. ועוד ועיקר, על ידי דוגמא חי', שאינה דומה השפעת מי שנאה דורש למי
שנאה
דורש ונאה מקיים. ואדרבה, מה שדורשים מהשני צריך להדר בזה בקיום בעצמו במדה יתירה, שהרי מהמושפע מצפים תמיד פחות מאשר הוא במשפיע, לכן כדי שיתקבל במדה ידועה אצל המושפע צריך שיהי' ההידור יותר מזה במשפיע, ודי למבין.
לכתבו על דבר סדר בלימוד, הרי בכלל כשלומדים במוסד חינוך קשורים עם סדרי המוסד, ואשר לזמן הנשאר ברשותו יתיישב עם מחנכים המכירים אותו וכח התמדתו ותפיסתו וכו', שמזה תלוי איך לנצל באופן הכי טוב את הזמן העומד לרשותו כדי לעלות ביראת שמים וקיום המצוות וכו'.
בטח יודע ושומר ג' השיעורים השוים לכל נפש בכל יום, היינו שיעורי חת"ת (חומש, תהלים ותניא).

In response to your letter which was received after a considerable delay: In general, it is known from our Sages of blessed memory that the Holy One Blessed be He only asks according to a person's ability, and does not come with unreasonable demands upon His creations. This is also understood logically: since He is the Creator and knows everything, there is no reason He would demand from a being of His own making something without giving him the strength to fulfill that demand.
From this it is also understood that when a person faces challenges—whether he thinks so or it truly is so—that are greater than those faced by others, this itself is proof that Hashem has given him greater abilities to overcome them completely. When he reveals and utilizes his superior strengths fully, he thereby attains a higher elevation than those who did not have such challenges.
If this applies to everyone, how much more so regarding an Avrech who still needs to establish a Jewish home and arrange family life, which are founded upon the experiences of previous years.
Regarding your question about how to influence your peers in your educational institution: it is well known there are two ways—firstly, through words that come from the heart (for we are assured they enter the heart and have their effect), and more importantly through living example. The influence of someone who both speaks well and acts accordingly cannot be compared to someone who only speaks well. In fact, what one demands from others should be observed by oneself even more scrupulously; since less is expected from those influenced than from the influencer, in order for it to be accepted by the recipient at all, the influencer must be even more meticulous—and this should suffice for one who understands.
Regarding your question about study schedules: generally when studying in an educational institution one follows its schedule. As for any remaining time at your disposal, you should consult with educators who know you and your diligence and comprehension abilities; based on this you can best utilize your available time for growth in awe of Heaven and observance of mitzvos.
Certainly you know and observe the three daily study portions that are equal for every soul—namely Chitas (Chumash, Tehillim, Tanya).
