והנני מודה לו מקרב לב בעד הברכות והאיחולים הטובים, ובמיוחד בעד דבריו הנלבבים וזכרונות ימי קדם, שכמובן גם חרותים בזכרוני.

אהבת
ה' אהבת התורה ואהבת ישראל שכולי חד.
ויהי רצון שכל אחד ואחד יעשה בזה מתוך ניצול מלא של כוחותיו ומדת השפעתו, באופן דמוסיף והולך, בשמחה ובטוב לבב.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
It was with pleasure that I received your letter through our friend Mr. Shlomo Midencik, chairman of Kfar Chabad, who also delivered your letter to me. I thank you sincerely for your blessings and good wishes, and especially for your kind words and memories of earlier days, which are of course also etched in my memory.
My strong hope is that just as all commemorative days in the life of the Jewish people serve to draw inspiration from those days into the entire year, so too may the yahrzeit—the twentieth anniversary of the passing of the Previous Rebbe—arouse and strengthen within each of us the desire and energy to continue the activities of the one whose yahrzeit it is: strengthening Torah and tradition in daily life through practical deeds imbued with love of G‑d, love of Torah, and love of Israel—all as one.
May it be G‑d's will that each person acts in this with full utilization of his abilities and influence, always increasing in these efforts with joy and a glad heart.
In return for your blessings, may you be blessed by G‑d—the Source of blessings—from His full, open, holy, and generous hand with everything you need for yourself and all that is yours, and may all your heart's desires be fulfilled for good.
