Shalom u'Vrachah! I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the seventh day of Chanukah with its enclosures, as well as what you sent separately—the newspaper clippings, leaflets, etc., which you mentioned in your letter.
A heartfelt thank you for sending me these mentioned items. It is well known the saying of our Sages of blessed memory: Milsa Albishayhu Yakira (Shabbat 10b).
May Hashem Yisbarach help each of us among all Israel that all general and personal matters—especially those connected with Ner Mitzvah and Torah Or—should shine and increase according to the instruction and lesson of Chanukah (when your letter was written): that one should add in light from day to day, in good health, joy, and gladness of heart.
