ולקראת ימי סגולה אלה, ימי הגאולה הבע"ל, הנזכרים ונעשים מדי שנה בשנה –

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I received with pleasure the news about the graduation celebration that will take place on Wednesday night, the eve of the third of Tammuz, at an auspicious and successful time.
Surely you know that this day marks the beginning of the liberation and redemption of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), from his imprisonment when he was arrested for his actual self-sacrifice in spreading Torah study and mitzvah observance in that land of oppression. By G‑d's grace he was freed with complete victory, and its effects continue to this very day.
As we approach these auspicious days—the coming days of redemption—which are recalled and reenacted each year (as is known from the Arizal's explanation on "VeHayamim HaEileh Nizkarim VeNaasim"—that at each year's cycle all matters of holiness and segulah from those days are renewed if they are recalled and reenacted properly)—I send my blessing to all graduating students: that with abundance, joy, and gladness of heart you merit a great measure of inner self-sacrifice—which is surrendering one's will—as explained in several places in our holy teachings. May you receive the blessing of the Baal HaGeulah (the one redeemed), that "Der Oybershter zol brengen a freshe kraft in dem eybigen chizuk haYahadus" (May G‑d bring fresh strength into the eternal fortification of Judaism), and it will be fulfilled that "Y'hi Hashem Elokeinu imanu ka'asher hayah im avoseinu al ya'azveinu v'al yitshenu" (May Hashem our G‑d be with us as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us nor forsake us), and for all Israel there should be light both spiritually and materially.
And each graduate—among all students—should fulfill his role as hoped by the Baal HaGeulah, founder of the yeshiva: fulfilling his mission completely, continually increasing in Torah light and mitzvah candle with chassidic beauty and vitality—to the pride of parents, teachers, administrators, and educators.
With blessings for outstanding success and good tidings—in all mentioned above both materially and spiritually together.
