מפני כמה סיבות נתעכב מכתבי זה ואתו רב הסליחה.
ובהמשך לשיחתנו בעת ביקורו כאן ובהתאם להמדובר אז, מצו"ב המחאה לקרן הבנין של מוסד החינוך על טהרת הקודש אשר בעירו ותחת ידו.
ויהי רצון אשר יצליחהו השי"ת ויברכו להוסיף כח ואומץ בהפצת היהדות המסורתית, יהדות תורתנו תורת אמת (אשר אמת הרי ענינה שאין בה מקום לפשרות ולויתורים וכולי) ומצותי'
עליהן
נאמר וחי בהם, זאת אומרת אשר כל אחד ואחת בישראל בכל מקום ובכל זמן התורה ומצותי' הם חייו האמתיים גם עלי אדמות בעולם הגשמי והחומרי. והנהגתם בדרך זו הרי תלוי' בהחינוך אשר מקבלים, ועוד יותר אשר כל השפעה טובה בגיל הצעיר והחינוך מוגדלת פי כמה לכשיגדל המחונך והמחונכת,
וכידוע
בזה הדוגמא אשר הטבה קטנה בכמות בגרעין ובשתיל עץ, חשיבותה גדולה ביותר לכשיגדל הגרעין והשתיל והיו לאילן נושא פירות. ובודאי לדכוותי' דכת"ר אין צורך בביאור בכל זה.
והשם יתברך יצליח את כל אחד מאתנו בתוככי כלל ישראל

For several reasons my letter was delayed, and with it comes much apology. In continuation of our conversation during your visit here and as discussed then, enclosed is the check for the building fund of the educational institution dedicated to pure holiness in your city and under your leadership.
May it be G‑d's will that He grant you success and bless you to increase strength and courage in spreading traditional Judaism—Judaism of our Torah, the Torah of truth (whose essence is that there is no room for compromise or concessions), and its mitzvos about which it is said "vachai bahem" (that one shall live by them). This means that for every Jew, everywhere and at all times, Torah and its mitzvos are their true life even here on earth in the physical world.
The way one conducts themselves in this path depends on the education they receive; even more so, every good influence at a young age is multiplied many times over as the student grows up—as is well known from the example that a small improvement in quantity in a seed or sapling becomes extremely significant when that seed or sapling grows into a fruit-bearing tree.
Certainly for your esteemed self there is no need to elaborate on all this.
May Hashem grant success to each of us among all Israel to ascend in holiness regarding Torah and mitzvos—constantly increasing light, as taught by the days of Chanukah from which we learn to add candles—ner mitzvah v'Torah or (a mitzvah is a candle and Torah is light)—day by day.
